During the 2024 Venice Biennale, three Lebanese women artists are featured in an exhibition titled "Unmasked," held at "Galleria ItinerArte" in Dorsoduro. The exhibition highlights the cultural richness and aesthetics of Lebanese art.

The presence of "Unmasked" at the Venice Biennale marks a significant moment for Lebanese art in Italy. It not only underscores the global relevance of Lebanese culture but also provides an invaluable platform for these artists to share their vision with an international audience.

Lina Husseini’s sculptural impressions return to amaze us in a new solo exhibition organized by Dr. Tony Karam at the Faculty of Architecture, Art, and Design of NDU Louaize, running until May 30. by Zeina Nader.

In this voyage of revelation, we embark on the odysseys of three extraordinary artisans: Angel Espino from Denver, Colorado; Lenor Bingham from Portland, Oregon; and Lina Husseini from Beirut, Lebanon.

Whimsical, colorful and decidedly modern sculptures are showcased in abstract shapes cast in bright iridescent colors. The PVC forms bend and unravel to reveal figures and notions that play a disappearing game depending on the angle.

Women artists from Lebanon reveal their talent to the world. This talk series was curated and moderated by Nicole Hamouche, a Lebanese journalist and consultant on creative industries. The Ebtedy Talks were created within the context of the Ebtedy Knowledge Platform (https://www.ebtedy.com/en/home) and belong to the project “Cultural and Creative Industries”, which is implemented by the GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut. It improves employment and income opportunities for creative professionals in six partner countries; Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Kenya, Senegal, and South Africa and operates mainly in the music, fashion, design and animation sectors. In addition to promoting the development of entrepreneurial, digital, creative and technical skills through training programmes, the project aims to strengthen the framework conditions and the ecosystem of the cultural and creative industries.​
